Summer Series Food Events & Free Concerts Tuesday evenings
Thanks for supporting a great season in 2009— we’ll kick off another on Tuesday, July 6, 2010!
Bring your blankets or chairs to enjoy these free concerts on the lawn; Chef Scott has planned food themes available for purchase at each event.

Postponed to Wednesday, July 8, 2009: Back Eddy Bluegrass Diner Night: Homestyle meatloaf, garlic mashies, seasonal veg, mini cheesecake. 6:00–8:00pm (When rains came on Wednesday, the band moved into the Café and we had Bluegrass in the Greenhouse.)
July 14, 2009: Los Sugar Kings — Latin Fusion Build Your Own Fajitas: Chicken or beef, assorted fixin's, rice & beans, fresh Mexicorn, flan. (A beautiful evening, summer at its best.) 6:00–8:00pm
Postponed to Wednesday, July 22, 2009: The Elderly Brothers — Music from the 50s & 60s Farm Fresh Fish: Farmed fish sampler, blackened catfish with remoulade & coconut jerk, tilapia with Myers’s Rum-coffee-cream, carnival vegetable quinoa, key lime tarts. (Oh, just a perfect night, sh-boom sh-boom.) 6:00–8:00pm
July 28, 2009: Bluegrass Invitation Band All American BBQ: House smoked beef brisket, cole slaw, BBQ baked beans, trifle. (They rocked us mama like a wagon wheel.) 6:00–8:00pm
August 4, 2009: Wellstrung — Acoustic Rock Things in Buns: Sloppy Joes, macaroni salad, squash medley (Catfish were jumpin’, and so were the young folk.) 6:00–8:00pm _____________________________

CONCERT TIME CHANGES
August 11, 2009: Big Cat Blues Mason/Dixon sampler: Gumbo, southern egg roll, buttermilk fried chicken, corn bread, red velvet cake. (Everybody there really had some fun, doin’ the mess around.) 5:30–7:30pm
August 18, 2009: The Reprobates — Seafaring songs from both sides of the pond, including Irish sea chanteys Wide World of Food: Pozole (Native American), chicken curry with condiments, zucchini spaghetti, crème brûlée. (Kids did the whirl-a-jig, while one colleen did a step dance sitting down.) 5:30–7:30pm
August 25, 2009: Lois Vaughan Jazz Breakfast All Day: Scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage & biscuit, fruit cup & orange juice. (They took the A train, they took five, they took our hearts.) 5:30–7:30pm
September 1, 2009: Travis Colby Band — Rhythm & Blues Italian Night: Chef Scott’s house made Italian sausage, pasta with meatballs, herb vegetables, garlic bread, cupcake. (Red sky at sunset, moon rising behind the trees, by Jupiter, a perfect finish to our musical picnics.) 5:30–7:30pm
