Each Tuesday evening during July and August, Sweet Berry Farm hosts a two-hour concert here on our grounds.

Sweet Berry Farm c0-owner Jan Eckhart, a representative of the Rhode Island Agricultural Partnership, introduced its new Five-Year Strategic Plan during Rhode Island Agriculture Day at the State House, sponsored by the Department of Environmental Management to recognize the importance of RI’s $100+ million agriculture industry, Thursday, May 12, 2011, 11:30am–6pm. Hundreds of attendees enjoyed samples of RI-grown food products, including Susanna’s Ice Cream and Sorbet (French Vanilla and Crème Brûlée Ice Creams and Rhubarb Sorbet) and Bumbleberry Jam from Cory’s Kitchen at Sweet Berry Farm.
The next day Sweet Berry Farm played luncheon host to Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs at the US Department of Agriculture Edward Avalos, together with Rhode Island dignitaries, as they began a tour of Rhode Island farms to learn first hand about RI’s agriculture industry.
Cory’s Kitchen Homemade Jams and Susanna’s Ice Creams and Sorbets are also available at the Winter Coastal Growers′ Market 10am–1pm Saturdays indoors at historic Lafayette Mill, 650 Ten Rod Road (Rte. 102), North Kingstown, RI 02852 (one mile west of Rte. 1/east of Rte. 4). Enter at the rear of the main building, next to the elevator tower. Susanna will be here for the pre-Valentine’s Day Market Feb. 11 offering samples of Pink Grapefruit and Champagne Sorbet & Chocolate Hazelnut Bark Ice Cream
