Spruces have stronger branches that can hold heavier ornaments, but they also have sharp needles. Firs and pines have weaker branches and soft needles, and a stronger aroma.
Tag Your Own Christmas Tree
(Starting in mid-October)
Please come inside the farm stand first to get your tag and colored streamer. You may walk or drive out to the Christmas tree field and select your tree. If you drive out, make sure to park on the right side of the road and stay on the gravel road, especially when the ground is wet. Place your tag as high as possible on the tree, along with the colored streamer. Find your row number—every five rows are marked with numbered stakes. Then return to the farm stand to give us your row number. This is very important, so that we will be able to find your tree!
When you are ready to pick up your tree, call at least a day ahead of time and we will have it cut, wrapped, and ready for you to pick up.
